Or have you just gotten right into and put it together along the way?

I've been finding that organization really helps, because there is so much out there to sift through and it's easy to jump from one topic to the next without following up on important questions. Anyway, I'll see you around then.

Hey miyachi1, since your also new welcome welcome to you too!

Ah... 2005 is the first time I jumped into trying to do affiliate marketing and I failed, I failed because I gave up, but I also jumped into PPC which was a big mistake, I lost some money, made 1 sale and just said screw it. The product I had bought at the time didn't explain that it takes time or anything, it made me beleive that there was a quick get rich scheme out there... So because of losing money and stuff I stopped what I was doing all together.

I came back in Feb 2008 to try and learn it again. Oblivously a bit smarter this time around. Like most people I typed "How To Make Money Online" into google one day and read a lot... A lot of information. I kind of just jumped right in and took it slow by doing a lot of reading. There is a lot of free information out there on Internet marketing, but its so easy to get lost. Which is why I read a bunch of reviews and ended up joining Profit Lance to learn more. I never really set learning goals to be honest. I just took the information as I found it, I book marked pages, kept notes, signed up to other marketers mailing list and so on. For anything I didn't quite understand I would make a note to find more information on it.

Yeah organization does indeed help out a lot. I have a folder on my desktop acctually that has a bunch of other folders and files that all is for affiliate marketing and so forth. Free ebooks I got are there too. Just a pile of info really, some is a bit scattered but its mostly organized....
You are right it is easy to jump from one topic to the next and forget about follow up questions or even get kinda lost.

Well I will see you around the forums!
Good luck!
