Hey guys
start promoting ur websites without using Adwords or any paid promotions.

Try hubpages, squidoo, stumbleupon, blogger etc
This may help you a lot
do social bookmarking too..

Advertising and prmotion wise, one of the systems i use (and am making money with) is the Hits2u application. It's pretty straight-forward, fool proof, and best of all, it's free.

Just insert your URL and your ad at Hits2u.

SEO Is the best way of getting traffic to your site and it also depends on social networks but it also depends on killer techniques of getting your website to the top listing.

Try the following to increase web traffic without advertising cost.
1.Find the best article directory like GoArticles. And submit a quality article to them related to your sites products and list with good keyword density.
2. Submit the article to about 40 high rating social bookmarking sites.
3. Make several blogs on various free blog sites linking to the article.
4. Link your Main site to the resource box of the article.
You should usually rank on the first Google results page within 24 hours, even with millions of results believe it or not.

But if you make several blogs, don't you need to put in a considerable amount of time to maintain them so that readers will want to return to them. Is this what you are suggesting? Or do you mean making blogs and then not really adding updates frequently to them?
