Since I am a writer by nature, this method intrigues me. What I was going to do is create quick blogs that review the product along with a few posts on how to use the product or related topics, then start writing articles for directories. This would be more to get a relatively easy supplementary income stream going along with all of my other projects. If you do this method, do you have any tips to offer on maximizing the effects and therefore the income?

I find article marketing is too tiresome. The best way is to choose your keywords, and create a squidoo lens based on your kw, to direct to your landing page.

Just some ideas:

- Submit your articles to social bookmarking sites
- Turn EVERY article in to a squidoo lens
- Set up a Twitter account and make a post every time an article is written with a link to it.
- Make sure your keyword research is SOLID
- UsFreeAds is a pretty good place to make a quick advertisement which allows aff. links
- Turn your articles in to a blog post too.

There are almost infinite ways to promote CB products (or any other affiliate program). Some things require an investment but many do not. Many people have good success with creating a simple review blog at blogger and then writing articles for directories such as ezinearticles which point to your blog in your resource box. That way there is no cash investment needed so it is a good way to get started.

Do your research first.

When choosing a product to promote run a google search and see if there are any affiliates running ppc campaign for that product. You definitely dont want to promote a product that has a lot of refunds so google the product name + scams or + crap + refunds etc.

If the product sucks its bound to be badmouthed in the forums or somewhere in the www.
