your own website would be useful but its not entirely necessary. you just have to promote the crap out of your product in order to have high conversions.

you need to be able to research keywords, in order to get more targeted traffic. You can submit to directories. you can use your researched keywords as tags and get better search engine results.

You can earn money through Clickbank as an affiliate without website as well.

However, if you like to earn big money and for the years to come, you must have to have a website of your own fully loaded with your autoresponder service.

actually it depends on competition, if there is little you may find lucks direct traffic to your hoplink. but if you are promoting making money programs then the huge chance is you have to set up a review page and set up an opt-in box to capture your visitors leads.

I've had a similar story with one website where I had lots of ppc click-thru and one sale out of well over a thousand clicks. I lost SO much money. So it's not just a CB issue. My analysis of the flaming wreckage revealed that 1. My sales page needed lots of work, 2. most of my click-thru were casual surfers not seriously interested or ready to buy - just curious (meaning I should have niche targeted my ads better, and written my ad copy for curious people), and 3. I kept beating a dead horse trying to make it work WAY too long. I should have changed it up and tried different things at least once every 24~48 hours. That's usually quite long enough to see if you're going to get any conversions out of your ppc traffic. and 4. In hindsite, I definitely should have been capturing leads and building a list on my landing page too (I wasn't). Even casual/curious surfers can be sold to if they see your ad enough times (with autoresponders and follow-up campaigns built off your list). In fact, I don't build a website anymore without considering how to capture leads somehow (and will be going back and redoing a number of my current sites to include this capability). Building, keeping, and maintaining a good list is also a good way to make a quick buck or two down the road. Whenever you need that quick buck or two, just email an ad to your list of already warm/hot leads. I use deluxe godaddy hosting at under $10/mo for as many domains and landing pages as you could put up. It's worth my every penny.
For what it's worth...

Hi Ryan,

I think your mention of your own website, also lead capture pages, autoresponders etc just may be the way to go. I have noticed that those who are making a little bit of money online do this.

It may take time, effort, learning curve etc... but would be well worth it...

For now with my Click Bank I only promote it with eBizIncomeClub
because it is all in one promtor of my sites as well as Click Bank and another digi store is included also... just sign up and promote.

Can't say I've earned from it. I have a growing downline for the ebizincomeClub
affiliate itself...

It is FREE to join and I promote most everything free as well so it's taking me longer to earn online... but I have started to earn with other websites that are listed on my ebizIncomeClub

...and when folks join there, they see what else you have to earn from or ways you promote like traffic exchanges etc... and I've had sign ups that way also! nice!

Beth
