Clickbank Income? (Sigh)

You don't need a website to sell Clickbank products, but it's not easy to do so without one. You can send PPC ads directly to the product page, but there's a whole lot of competition and it can be very expensive.

If you are really trying to build a business, you must build a list. There's no way around it.

I'd advise doing more studying before you plunge in and spend a lot of money on promoting Clickbank products.

It's not strictly necessary, but if you are building a long term business as opposed to making a quick buck, then you will need a website and some sort of email capture system in place.

But I have also found that free tools such as Squidoo, Hubpages and the like are also wonderful marketing tools.

If you have a lead capture page offering quality incentives to sign up to your list then you have the opportunity to promote to them more than just once.

This is crucial because it takes 6-7 exposures before people actually decide to buy.

Landing pages

It's almost always better to have a landing page, but you can convert without one. What products are you promoting and does the company have a great closing page?

Hi. New poster here.
I'm enjoying the talk.
My 2 cents worth, I have better luck with an opt in sales or landing page, but short and sweet. I guess my thought is if people will opt in...they're not "fly bys" and might stick around a bit longer for sales.
As has already been said...build a list.
