Hi guys, I just created and ebook. This one is not about getting rich online like most others, but contains valuable immigration if you have a specific legal problem and how to work it out.

I know this is information that a lot of people will pay good money for, I just don't know where to start from.

I have the ebook, I have a website, everything is ready. I would like to get affiliates to promote it. Most of the information I found online about affiliate programs are for people who want to promote someone else's products, and my case is the opposite.

How should I get started? Should I go with Commission Junction, Clickbank, PayDotCom or what?

Any tips to get the biggest amount of affiliate interested in promoting a new product? I've read that they look at the statistics for the best sellers and they promote those products (it makes sense after all). How can I get their attention?

I would say go to clickbank and open a publisher account.

Here's what I'd suggest you do:

First, sign up to join Commission Junction as a publisher then dig around in their affiliate programs, paying particular attention to the payout numbers and ratings that CJ presents: they pay close attention to the best affiliate programs to help answer the exact question you asked.

revenue magazineThen, click over to Revenue Magazine, the publication of record for the affiliate community. You can also subscribe via Amazon, if you'd prefer using that service (and yes, that's an affiliate link. Amazon has a huge affiliate program that's well worth exploring).

If you are new in affiliate marketing I would suggest you start with Clickbank, and as you grow in knowledge you might want to take a look at CJ which to me and many marketers will be the natural upgrade of the affiliate marketing business.

You can affiliate yourself with almost any company out there who offers a program for affiliates, by simply filing an application with them. The way that you promote your affiliate companies is either by email marketing in which you send the companies offers by email to your contact list, or by promoting their products or services on a website with banners and links that contain your tracking affiliate id.

You have thousands of affiliate programs to choose from, but if you really want to make money from this venture, you need to settle on whom you want your main target audience to be. You don't want to market affiliate products and services to people who have no interest in them.

The main way that people these days are making money from affiliate marketing is by having a blog or a website that brings in a big audience on a daily basis. If you do not yet have a couple hundred people to market too, then trying affiliate marketing will probably be something you fail at from he very start.

Marketing is not simply a matter of throwing messages at a large number of viewers. If the reader is unfamiliar with you or your product, they will simply "tune out" the message. Therefore, you need to have some sort of relationship with the public coming to the site. Most people start there, and i think it is a good place to start. I am talking about clickbank. Why not? after all, they are the largest distributors of digital products, and they have the largest number of affiliates just waiting to promote your product.
