Guideline #1: Check to see if the product you want to promote already has an established market

This goes a long way in earning an awesome income with clickbank affiliate marketing. Do a Google search for the main topic related to your product.

If the search results return 750,000 sites then it more than likely means that there is enough web traffic and potential customers to make serious profits!

Guideline #2: Don't base your product selection strictly on commission percentage.

Sometimes a product with a 75commission can return less on your investment compared to a product that has a 50commission. It's better to sell a $47 product with a 50commission than a $7 product with a 75commission!

Remember that you should think about the cost of advertising. If you're paying for your advertisements then you want to work with a product that will return well on your investments.

Guideline #3: Don't be afraid to step outside the make money online/ internet marketing niche.

There are far too many fantastic opportunities in other niches compared to the internet marketing niche. Even thought the make money online niche is very lucrative, it is also highly competitive. You shouldn't be afraid to research and make serious profits in other lucrative niches.

Guideline #4: Make sure to check the Sales page of the product

When you study the sales page does it have a strong headline that commands attention? Is the copywriting easy to read and understand? Does the sales page include testimionals and guarantees? All of these factors increase conversions which in turn makes you more money.

Guideline #5: Does the Sales page contain an "Opt In"?

A sales page with an "opt in" usually promotes a free ebook, audio, or video in exchange for the prospect's name and email address. Theses ethical bribes are used so that the business owner can market to the prospects repeatedly over time. Using that marketing tactic increases conversions which in turn makes you more money.

Guideline #6: Search for products that provide you with tested marketing material

This can be a big help in your marketing efforts. This makes it easier to make money beucase you don't have to spend time creating the material yourself. Having tested marketing material to use can help shortcut your way to profits.

If you prefer to create your own marketing material then you can definitely use the provided material for ideas.

Guideline # 7: Don't waste time trying to turn a losing product into a winner

Sometimes the products you choose will not convert so well. That is why I encourage you to choose multiple products to promote. Set up an effective marketing campaign for each product then move to the next product. If a product is not converting well you don't need to worry because you have your other products you're promoting and hopefully converting!.

Guideline # 8: Duplicate the process as many times as possible

Promoting one product is not going to earn you a full time income. Marketing many products over time will earn you serious money online. The more times you duplicate the process the more you will compound your commission earnings. That is the key to winning at affiliate marketing!

Remember that practice makes perfect. The more you try your hand at clickbank affiliate marketing the more effective you will be at it. And of course, the more effective you are the more money you will make!

Great tips you made there, but i will say one thing though. on your third point:Guideline #3: Don't be afraid to step outside the make money online/ internet marketing niche.

If you want to make money on the internet, and you are just starting up, i would not advice you to start with money making products. choose a different niche. In fact you should only try selling internet marketing products only after you have been on the internet for a while. I have never seen an industry that is as competitive as make money online!!!

All nice tips but one of the most important things you can do if you are a product vendor in ClickBank is to ensure you have plenty of ads, banners, etc for your affiliates to use to market your product.

In general affiliates want something that's easy to promote and of course sells well. They are not going to take the time to create their own creatives for your products.

Heres just a single clickbank tip. A lot of people get the gravity thing all wrong.
They find a product with high gravity and think they have a winner. Gravity is a small piece of the puzzle, but if you don't get it right you'll be chasing your tail.
A gravity over 100 is my minimum, this will let you know that there is enough demand. However if you find gravity of 300 or 400 this could be a signal that the market is saturated and although there is demand there is probably too much competition to bother with. Of course there are other concerns to take into account like commission and back end or recurring sales... Hope this helps

Well said Waxman... the "making money online" industry is wayyyy big. And a good percentage of the ones making up this niche are those trying to sell ideas they haven't yet implemented : )
