Buy me a Beer?
Is this a decent squeeze page to make sales on clickbank?

Hello fellow marketers

After gathering knowledge for the past 2 years I finally had time to get my first squeeze page online.
I haven't worked much on it so tips are always welcome.
I only submitted it to about 100 directories so the traffic is low as it's only listed at 30 directories already.
Tips to gather more targeted traffic are always welcome.

Here is the url:

I checked the page. You could still work on it and make it even more appealing. As for the traffic tips, you got a long battle ahead of you if you want organic traffic. There's a lot of competition there. You should go with PPC traffic but before you take this road, make sure you optimize the hell of that squeeze page (so it will convert well enough)

I personally use a squeeze page as a method to collect the visitor's name and email address so that I can market to them later.

I Offer them something of value to get something of value in return (their email address)

I clicked on your read more and it took me to your sales page which was extremely busy and included banners that actually sent them away from your sales page - Why would you do that?

Your opt-in form was on the bottom of your sales page when in reality it should be on the squeeze page.

Just a couple of thoughts. Everybody has their own way but generally you should get the opt-in from the squeeze page and not your sales page - unless it is from an exit pop because they were leaving.

Sometimes affiliates don't like the vendor capturing the information and in that case you could use a product like hop guard which will allow you to give one page to affiliates and one for yourself, even on clickbank.

Hello Rick
First of all thanks for the awesome info.
Currently my target is to gather a few sales before I start with an opt in list,I want a paid subscription to aweber
I can offer them free ebooks so I will get that sorted soon.

About the product page,I have read about landing pages and people seem to be annoyed with all the audio and crowded stuff.
I searched for a vendor with a (in my opinion)good product page.

I never used hopguard,I might google it when I have nothing to do.

Thanks for your tips.

Huge markets aren't always good but I researched some nice domains and fastweightlossclub.com was the nicest one I could find, I always buy expired domains, they are a bit older and have a bit more value than new domains if I'm not mistaken.

I'm currently searching for top affiliates yes and iplementing some of the methods they use.

Things I need to do :

-make it valid xhtml again
-put some testimonials online
-write some more articles
-add opt in newsletter box

More hints and tips are always welcome!

Your sales page is ok. I wont say great because I think you can change some few things to make it even more interesting. For instance, change the font and make it more eye friendly. I was kind of straining when i read your page. I think i liked the dynamic pictures. makes the site lively and the engines may like it. I don't know but that is what people say.

Really doesn't matter what any one here says about your squeeze page, the only way to know is by testing it. Actually it should be in constant test mode. People here could give suggestions, but there is only one way to know for sure

Are you testing it?

Thanks for the info.
Well I spent like an hour working on it so if you think it's ok then it's fine for me
About the font, which font do you suggest?
I also like the dynamic pictures but on the other hand my mom(yes I always ask family and friends what they think about it,I have read it somewhere that the marketing of a page can start within your family) said it looked like a tv commercial, they always have these "before" and "after" pictures so I don't know,it might look fake for some and real for others.

Yes I'm always testing several methods,I'm now testing the submission methods:
Online Marketing Info Testing article marketing submission methods.

I'm writing articles(Author Kevin Opdekamp: GoArticles.com) and submitting to directories so I'm kinda waiting for my articles and links to be picked up.

I also put an article database of weight loss articles online on a subpage,I will place a link on the index in the footer soon,it's good for seo

I thought I would share this,I think I used an interesting method:
When you check the header you will see free offer, when people click it they go to the sample at the bottom of the page and this is a rebranded sample.
I never did this kind of marketing before so maybe we will see some good results.

Thanks for all the tips,I hope this topic will help me and other people to create a successfull campaign on clickbank.

You can add some related products and do a review style of landing page which will definitely make your website visitors see your authenticity.

Why don't you check out problem related keyword that start with cure, get rid off, prevent, stop etc. i believe there you can get some great traffic.

Cheers.
