I don't want to run afoul of the ads posting rule here, but a friend of mine has a new product being launched Aug 18th that might fit what you describe as 2-tier. We have affiliates selling memberships to a suite of tools to help online entrepreneurs be successful, memberships that have their own viral marketing component built in, all kicking commissions back to the affiliate from unlimited levels of member signups. I have been doing a lot of research on affiliate programs and have found that it takes more than just one program to really maximize profits and create multiple streams of revenue. If your affilite programs have next to no start up cost and each program is unique in what they are offering with a great payout, but at the same time can coexist without conflict, then it is a great program. Nice thing is that with the internet, it can now be automated.
