Do you people know any software which can convert Video to different file format? Actually I am a newbie and I don’t know more about video conversion. If you guys have some suggestions so please let me know. Any help will be highly appreciated.

There are number of Video Converter Softwares are available in market. As you are newbie you need the simplest one. Currently I am using YASA Video Converter, it’s really very good. It supports large number of video files including AVI MPEG DVD VCD SVCD WMV ASF MP4 and many more. It’s very easy to use. One click on convert button can do your work. Hope it will give you a great help.

Maybe total video converter is the software you find.
The software supports almost any formats to any formats conversion.

I recently came across a site called Media Convert (hope the direct link is OK.... ) which I've used to successfully convert all kinds of different file types. It's a free service and so far hasn't let me down, so I'd urge you to have a look at it.

On the other hand, if you're looking to convert video into a format that can be displayed on the web, you'll need something like "FLV Producer" (Google for it) or alternatively, upload your video into YouTube and use their tools to embed it into your site.

Or after uploading to youtube, right click on it and save the corresponding flv file, or copy the corresponding flv file out of your temporary internet files folder after you have viewed it on youtube. I have tools to work with web video files that only do flv format, and this is my method. Hope this helps.

I’m also using Total Video Converter and getting good results with it.

But still I’m unable to convert flash files with it, really looking for any software program to do so.

Try Super 8 Video Converter. The gui is ugly as sin but it converts any video to any format. The best news is it if free!
