First off, I am no expert when it comes to CPA marketing. It's something I've been learning for a little while, so don't take me as a guru. Just passing on what I've learned. Plus we needed some threads in this part of the forum

Since CPA offers, for the most part, do not require surfers to spend any money, it's easy to see why they are the perfect targets for scammers and less then ethical marketers.

With that said, it's not always easy to get accepted as an affiliate with CPA networks. Can't blame them, they are only trying to protect their system. They are doing their best to verify they have a serious marketer signing up, less one that appears to be credible.

Some ways to help getting accepted:

1. Have a Professional Site - You'll want a professional website to show them, most will ask for this on the sign up form. Also having a nice sites builds your credibility. The easiest way would be to use wordpress with a nice looking theme. Don't worry, it does not have to be related to what they offer, it's just something to give an example.
   
2. Tell them your going to use PPC and SEO to generate sales - If you tell them your going to spam craigslist to sell their offers, they are probably going to hang up on you (something you wouldn't do anyways right). Show them your a professional and say your going to use PPC and SEO organic traffic to market the offers.
   
   Just remember to keep your good traffic and sales generation tactics to yourself, Some CPA networks have taken over their affiliates idea's and used them to go direct.
   
3. Answer the phone - Many CPA networks will actually call you on the phone, to verify your a real human and verify what you've said on your application. Make sure to answer the phone in a professional manner, better yet giving your business name when you pick up the phone. "Hey Dude, What's shaking" is likely to get you a dial tone and a be denied.
   
   If you don't have a business line, here's a couple ideas. Internet phoen providers like Vonage can be an inexpensive way to have a "business" line with all the bells and whistles. You could even get a pre-paid cell phone for dirt cheap and have that dedicated as your business phone. I recently bought a tracphone for $20 and $20 for minutes. Just an idea.
   
4. Rehearse - Practice what your going to say ahead of time. I am not saying to lie, just keep your story straight, same as what you entered on your application.
   
5. Referrals - If you've marketed for other CPA networks or offers, by all means, tell the ones your trying to get into. Tell them what you've promoted in the past, ect.

That's it for now, should be enough to get you accepted.

I've read quite a few, well, have a couple more to reading, (my reading material is so backed up!), but seems most of them say the same thing. I think CPA is pretty simple and straight forward. It's really just like affiliate marketing, the difference usually being the offers that don't require a purchase to get paid. To me most of CPA can be learned free online. What I look for is the tricks and tips, ect. More so, to generate promotional ideas.

Funny though, it's like pretty much anything, it really comes down to just doing it, testing, see what works. I know I have been wanting to do more and I end up stalling for some reason. Just gotta get out there and do it.

I think if you use the same mind set as an Affiliate Marketer, your good to go. After all, you still just promoting something, just like with affiliate marketing. Though the advantage, "should be", you'll have higher conversions.

I know CPA makes a great difference when it comes to online marketing because it helps in generating sales.I haven't personally try to be in any CPA network and those tips above are really helpful.

Wow, I didn't realize it was that difficult to sometimes get accepted. Guess the market has really caught on...

yeah.we cannot ask everyone to accept us at all times but we still need to try.This industry needs knowledge,skills and hardwork for us to be successful in marketing.
