Answers
PR stands for Page Rank, this was developed by Google a while back as a way to rate websites. Page Rank is all about the backlinks to your website and ranges from 0-10, 10 being the highest.
Usually a high Page Rank is a vote of confidence for your site and increases it's value on many levels. The Google algorithm determines PR of a site and it is based on not only the number of backlinks to your site but also the value of the sites linking to you. So basically if a website is consistently getting PR4, 5 or 6 backlinks this tells Google that the website is offering a lot of value and its own PR will then be raised accordingly. All sites start out at PR0 the rest is up to you and your link building strategy and what sites link back to you.
