What you stated is correct. Those who would like to popularize their website PPC advertisements, blogs and articles are the best weapons. But, some article and blogs would take some time to approve. I would like to add some more best proven tactics such as social bookmarking, forums and niches etc are of great help in driving the traffic.

Good article....I made the mistake of buying some guaranteed traffic and most of it was from Brazil and eastern Europe. Since my site is basically for US the traffic did me no good.

Lesson learned.

Yes, I agree that blogs are a great way to improve traffic but only in so far as how good the blogs you are posting are, If you really want to have good traffic why not hire and SEO consultant instead of buying traffic
