writing an article about something you dont own?

How should I go about writing an article or blog post about some thing I dont own for example if im trying to sell a backpack from amazon but i dont own it, should I just read reviews and then just write all the positive things about this in my own words from my thoughts from the reviews?

The best thing is to make some little research on that subject matter. for your review to be good, you need to have a considerable amount of knowledge about the article. and remember that people who will be purchasing your article are people who know very well about it. They wont buy from you if at all you show any sign of ignorance on the subject mater

It is quite easy to make a research on basically everything on the net today. just do a Google search on the article and read much about it.

don't only write the good things about the article. if you can pick up some few minor drawbacks too, that will be great. by doing so, you will make your prospect know that you are not only trying to sell some stuff to them, but you have their interest in mind

It sure is better if you have used or seen the product first hand. Too many fake review sites out there already.

I was thinking about this a little tonight, for some odd reason.

Remember you don't always have to do a review, though they tend to do the best as far as preselling and conversions. You could also write about what the product does and how it can "help" or solve a "problem", pushing the benefits of the product. Just a thought

Does that make sense?

You can also buy pre-written articles, that's another solution.

Yes, I think you can do that. Just make a blog with pictures and reviews about your product. But you should think a lot how to do that so people get interested in it.

Ron is spot on here with what he said.

If you have not got the product then you can't give an accurate review on it.

However, read others reviews and the product description then think a little.

It is easy to create an article about how to product could be used and the benefits of using that product. It's kinda like the way in which a sales letter sells a product on key benefits such as:

"If you're a mother of young children then product X's main feature of "...." will save you X amount of time each morning making breakfast".

You just need to 'think' like the owner of that product. What will that product do to help the owner save time, save money, make money, do something easier, do something faster, do something safer etc.

Just a little thought and you can crank these kind of articles out in no time flat.
