One way to get testimonials is to contact someone who is in the same industry and send them you products for free to them in return for a testimonials. Tell them by doing that, they can have free advertisement on your side since they can include their webiste in their testimonial. You can also provide them with a pre-written testimonial and ask them if they agree to it and then you can post them up on your site.

I am not even sure people believe testimonials anymore because so many have simply made them up. Of all of my sites I only display testimonials on one of them which happens to be my oldest. Unlike some, these are real. I simply never bothered with them on any of my other sites because I am not convinced they make much of a difference.
