Is your email marketing profitable?

Hi Admin,
I run my own on-line newsletter plus am involved with several other programs and I have found that the Autoresponder that I use is the best way to control my mailing lists.

I have setup several seperate campaigns for my newsletter so that depending on where the subscribers come from they receive a email thanking them for subscribing and letting them know their request has been received and they will next recieve a confirmation that they are subscribed to my newsletter.

I also use the same responders for my affiliate downlines in my other programs so that I can welcome them and also share ideas and software products that will help them in their marketing efforts.

I receive my responder program along with a tracking program and web hosting from one of the programs I am involved in.

A few basic reles have worked for me to create a HUGE mailing list:

1: Whenever possible, always provide multiple ways for users to subscribe to your newsletter - tradition optin forms, slide-over windows (e.g. http://pr-slide-over.com), auto-responders, etc.

2: Offer a gift in exchange to subscription.
