How do you make money online without spending money

Other than selling stuff (like on eBay or Amazon), most "make money online" sites are a scam, and a waste of time. I've looked into some of them, and every one is the same. This is no different than playing the lotto - you want to make money without putting forth any effort or money. You want a way to quickly and easily make a bunch of money without any effort or thought. Just stop trying - you'll save a ton of time, and possibly avoid a few dangerous scams.

Most people I know (myself included) would love to magically get a bunch of money, because most jobs suck, and we as a society are dependent on money to buy our happiness. I'm not criticizing you, because I've wanted exactly what you're looking for many times. But I've learned that it's not going to come. Other than rare occasions, money doesn't just fall into your lap, and when it does, it's not from any "get rich quick" schemes - it's pure chance and you cannot expect it or make it happen. If it does, great, but it probably won't.

If you want to make money - think of an idea that no one has thought of before, and market it, or something like that. Or take something that already exists, and find a new use for it, or think of something that would be nice if it existed, and make it a reality.

Also, don't focus so much on money - it's a complete illusion anyway. It's colored paper that is only worth what everyone says it is, and with the economy like it is, you shouldn't put too much value in it right now.

You probably don't want to be a wage-slave and work at McDonalds, or even in some cubicle for the rest of your life, even if it pays well. If you do want income (which is rather handy, admittedly), get a job that you enjoy - try something different. If you don't like it, quit and try something else. Never keep a job just because you feel like you "need the money" - don't sacrifice your happiness for colored bits of paper - life's too short for that. But don't expect free handouts or quick riches - that's not how things work. Just be happy, and trust that things will work out if you want them to. Be willing to work for what you want, and don't sacrifice your happiness to an illusion.

Hi Sara, I feel your frustration. To many cons and snake oil salesmen online. When it sounds to good to be true it is. Why not re-start by going to guru and looking at all the freelance work that is available. It is free and a good start to work online and get paid for all your efforts. Good Luck

There are sure fire ways to make money online of course, not in the least by writing articles. Of course this is similar to the wage slave work at McDonalds.

I agree that there are a lot of "scams" on the internet preying on the people that want to make a ton of money without doing much of anything. Doing nothing begets nothing.

I too have been a victim of the scam artist with the "it's so easy to make money" blah blah blah...Then I got wise. I started researching companies that I thought I wanted to promote for, joined as a FREE member until I started seeing a profit from my efforts of marketing - then and only then did I upgrade. It has taken some time to do this, but was well worth all of my efforts and frustrations and yes, even being bitten by "scam bag".

In internet marketing patience is a virtue, it takes time - there is no such thing as overnight success, thousands of dollars flooding your clickbank or paypal account...it doesn't happen. But, with perserverance - a little research - smart marketing - and just a little money spent (self-preservation has a tendency to lead to proverty) you can and will be successful. To quote Jim Rohn, "Part of Success is preparation on purpose".

I have been working profitably on the internet for about ten years.

The best formula still is content sites with text links to affiliate programs. ı also want to create my own products and sell them too.

I'm making quite a reasonable amount now but its been hard work to get here. There is money to be made but also a hell of a lot of con merchants.

I'm putting together a couple of sites to deal with topics such as getting traffic, building lists and using them profitably and also the general topic of money making opportunities on the net.

I agree that it is an illusion to think that you can make money without spending anything. And even if you could, I don't think it would be possible long term. Even if you are not spending money to make money, you are spending time and energy, which does cost money because as we know, time is money in our culture.

She is completely right. I have done the same thing. I ran through as many online businesses as possible until I became a Jack of all trades and master of none. I had to stop myself, and research. That is the key. Do not let anyone talk you joining anything unless you are able to research it and are not rushed by the nonsense they spew out of their mouths. Check into things, be careful and educate yourself on internet marketing first. Then you will find what you are looking for, and know what you are getting into.
