I agree with Salman T. When I started online, 2 years ago now, I was jumping from one opportunity to another without achieving anything. But then 8 months ago I made a plan, I followed it working very hard and now I left my job and I work full time on the net.

i agree with this information. my biggest problem is i keep jumping from one opp to another instead of sticking to one goal.

Find a mentor. Someone who is ACTUALLY doing it. Like Mike Filsaime, Russel Brunson, Glen Hopkins or Frank Kern. These guys know their stuff. Too many 'fakes' out there. Be ware!

I would like to qualify the profits debate, from my own perspective.

YES, do things that provide the best service and value WHILE keeping profits in mind.

I believe the old "do what you love and the money will come" addage is total B.S.

I might love to take walks in the woods, but I guarantee you no one is waiting out there to give me money while I walk by.

HOWEVER, if I think about profits WHILE I'm thinking about what I love, I start getting ideas: guided nature tours, weekend family/educational/fun campouts, web 2.0 outdoors experiences that I can share globally with wireless broadband and a membership site.

So, yes, if you focus only on the money, that's not good, but you've got to keep it in mind.

I have a bad habit of taking on too many projects. When I focus on one it is always better. Focus is a key that we must master if we are to be successful. Thanks guys for all the impute.

Quite informative, good points to get success online. Well to be successful in any kind of business or job one needs to be very hard working, but with being a hard worker you also need to be a smart worker. You need to be focussed and be clear about your goals.You have to have a clear vision. One should try to gather full knowledge about the business you need to start.
