Have YouTube, PayPal or eBay ever banned you?

Hi

Forums Members,

I was just wondering have anyone every got their account closed, shutdown or banned for no reason at all. There have been people I have talked to who have had problems like this, which is very sad. These are people who have ran their businesses online, weather it was an eBay store ect..

I will love to know weather anyone here, has been missed used by these services in this way or another?
If so! I will love to hear your story.

Buy me a Beer?
My ebay account got closed once due to non payment, they sent a guy that asked me to pay 25€
Paypal limited my account because of all the fraud orders and I ended up paying 75€ to a bank account in Paris.
I don't think they shut you down for no reason but the reasons mentioned above will get you a locked account sooner or later.

Buy me a Beer?
I heard of it happening to several people even some of my friends. I would say is alls have your own website as a back up when selling goods on ebay. And be sure to collect email addresses.

Actually Paypal is famous for shutting down accounts.
Understand they are doing it for the protection of their
members, but I am sure it has ruined many product launches
for many Internet Marketers.

It seems that if they see unusual activity in your account they
will lock it down. So if you usually only receive say $ 500 per week
through paypal and all the sudden you have a good promotion and
your sales jump to $30,000 they will more than likely lock down your
account until you can prove that you are not commiting fraud to
get the income.

Once you can prove that you are legit you can get your money.
But it is wise to have a backup plan.

One of my mentors had his Paypal account frozen recently with around $60,000 in it. Although he has a legitamite membership site and has been making money online legally and above board for a number of years now, Paypal seemed to think that they're T&C were being breached which was absolute rubbish. So now he has to wait to get his money out.

I have not been banned for no reason.

Better still, I have never been banned. My account at paypal got limited access cos some one hacked in and used my money to purchase some items online. I was refunded though.

I think your account cant just be closed for no reason. Strange to hear. In their tos, they usually say: Your account can be closed for any reason. Not: Your account can be closed for no reason.

Buy me a Beer?
I have had more issues with offline banks freezing accounts since they were linked to paypal. My activity created an automatic response and took a few days to clear up. Since then... always carry a few bucks.

eBay, Paypal... no. Nothing closures or freezing.
My numbers are lower than the 6 figures though...

Paypal is a bank and worried about fraud. I am sure the automated systems will grab me unexpected with a surprise success product. so far so good.
