Ultimately you would do well to get a personal coach who has already made millions online. Next to that you should get hold of time-tested and proven methods and tactics from a program put together by the inernet guru who has already made millions online. If you can find someone genuine enough that is.

Fortunately I have had some interactive experience with online millionaires. Affiliate marketing is good but it's better and more profitble to have your own product. However when starting out affiliate marketing is a start.

But how do you optimise your website, edit the page, get keywords and get traffic to the website? Well a free video would show you and explain much better all these essential skills that you need, all you would have to do is wath and learn. I did say free.

But basically, for traffic start with forums and contributing first. Ask questions and help people out.

Social networking on Myspace, Facebook and Twitter are other ways for free traffic. These sites are not marketer friendly so you have to act accordingly but you can put links back to your website.

Bookmarking is another way as well as blogs.

To start learning about this easy but effective stuff, it would be easier to show you in the free, yes free video below. It goes into much more detail.

You could also submit your website to the search engines [google, MSM, Yahoo], but that's after you have optimised it with the right keywords and uploaded the page to the web [FTP].

There are several ways to make money on the internet. Many with endles potential.

First, I would suggest identifying what you want to do as an online endeavor. If you do not have a product of your own to sell. You could sign-up as an affiliate on someone elses site. Promoting their product and earning commission from those sell. You can earn between 10% to 25% on these commission.

Second, you could create your own blog. Where you can write reviews about other peoples products. Your blog could be about your passion and or hobby.

Third, create a product that you think would benefit others and sell it on your own website. And, have other people promote your product for you and pay commission to them for doing so.

You can learn a lot of stuff with free information, as long as it's quality and actually works. This forum is free but there is some good stuff on it.

I offer free videos but they are tasters to the actuall product, and they give very good information about how you can make fast money online. E.g building a list is very important, you need to know how to build a lucrative list. Secondly you need simple step by step guides for you to follow which is stupid easy to learn the basics of websites, html, uploading etc. Thirdly you need to know how to atrract hordes of traffic, especially for free unless you have spare money lying around.

It's easy when you know how they say.

Those mino flip videos look good where you can video yourself [promote your website etc] and upoad it to a blog, Myspace, Facebook etc. With those you can video anywhere even if you are on holiday.

Everyone needs to know the basics to make money online. Essential things you must have is hosting, Autoresponder, html editor for example.

Also the basic such as:

setting up a website
How to find the right keywords
Free traffic generating methods
Blogs
Video submission
Traffic analytics
Meta-tags

And theres more. A great way to learn if possible is to watch easy step by step videos that show you how to do it. Actually, [wink] I have some free videos at the moment that do exactly this [see signature].

Unless you have some spare cash lying around, using free proven traffic pulling methods and tactics are the way to go first. But you will need a website set up of some kind first and you will need to know how to do all of the above list and more.

Affiliate marketing is a good way to start because you don't need a website. There are thousands of products for affiliates on Clickbank.

You do need to know some basic stuff though like, finding the right keywords, html, meta tags, links in the page, how to edit your page and set up the website etc.

And of course get traffic to your site which is an ongoing thing.

Never give up and don't get distracted from actually doing any work once you have found a product or are learning about keywords or links etc.
