There are many ways to make money in online. But all you need to do is, learn some basic principles of internet marketing to promote products or services.

Promotion affiliate programs also one of the best of the best. But you need some research to find a niche market that suit your interest.

Search out and find a program that offers you training along with the offer. You don't need to spend an arm and a leg. When I first started out I wasted alot of money on useless stuff, but over the years I began to understand what works and doesn't. There's no get rich overnight programs, so forget about those. Find a real system that easy to began and follow the steps and you will began to earn money.

You can join online affiliate program and earn commission from each product you can sell, you can start blogging to start promoting by writing article related to your product. learn to use highly targeted keyword with low competition and add a adsense id on your blog to generate extra..

Ways to make money online:

1) Sell your own product
2) Make it possible for others to sell your own product (your own affilitate program)
3) Sell someone else's product (affiliate programs)
4) Send others to sell someone else's product (2nd, 3rd, etc. tier affiliate programs)
5) Sell advertising or use a form of Adsense on your highly trafficked website

Make sense? Your own "product" could be a physical product, digital product (ie: downloadable ebook, software), or service.

That's about it! If you can think of other ways, post them! Be creative, of course.

I'd like to point out that affiliate programs can be quite tricky; especially for newbies like myself. The deal is there are a lot of companies with products you can promote. The catch is that they are marketing their selves. So, they have restrictions in place so that you cannot use their keywords in a PPC campaign. (They don't want competition!) Or they don't allow certain types of marketing...if you don't have a lot of TARGETED traffic coming to your website already for that product, you're stuck!

Affiliate programs could be profitable if you have TARGETED traffic on your site that you'd like to monetize. Especially, if you can find products that compliment your own!
