New Site- How do I market it?

Hey guys-
New here, been reading some posts and whatnot. I've got a new site that I really believe is a great service. I've never seen anything like it. But, it's not your typical site that's selling a $20 e-book. It's selling bank foreclosed reo properties. So it's a much tougher sell, to a specific type of visitor.

I need some help trying to improve the site, and marketing to potential investors/buyers of these properties. I've added Meta Tags, there's some good keywords in the landing page- and I''ve added links to this new site on my other real estate websites (which are already indexed in teh SE's)- I'm hoping those will pick it up soon. When we close a few sales, we'll get some PPC advertising and whatnot. But in the mean time, I could use some advice on how to market/sell this service.

I would try becoming a vendor on a Affiliate Network like ClickBank then spend some money reaching to affiliates to market the product for you!

You can write a crisp article on the best advantages of your product to the customers explaining how it would help solve their problem. The link can be given inside this article. Submit this article to the top article directories. You can also create a squidoo lens and link back to your site.

There are many more. But the above two are the most recommended ways to get results.

I agree with Glory, article marketing is a good way to go. Write articles pertaining to your site and include a bio box at the end linking back to your site. The more articles your write and submit, the more traffic you'll get. Plus, this is the most cost effective way to advertise. It doesn't cost a cent!

hey REIGuy,I belive that you should try either article marketing or look into stumbleupon. I havent tried it myself, but many people said it help bring a lot of traffic from stumbleupon.

You are offering a service that requires a large investment and the Internet is not the best place to gain instant trust. Most people are concerned about scams, etc. By capturing email addresses as you are, you can keep in touch with your list and work on building that trust. The following are some suggestions:

1. Target your landing pages for specific locations, as opposed to a general page. If I'm in FL, I want to feel that the service knows "my" local market even if the concept is the same. Niche as opposed to general is the best approach.

2. Your current links will help you to get indexed and the article suggestion will help you to obtain some traffic in the long term. You need to write them based upon longtail keyword phases with a low supply so you can be found in the search engines.

3. Bookmark your pages. Go to onlywire.com, Digg, etc.

4. For immediate targeted traffic, you can run some PPC ads (Google AdWords is best) but make sure that you understand how to do this correctly because you'll be paying for each click. Go through the free Google tutorials to learn how to run an effective ad campaign. You can even target your ads for local display.

5. Search for blogs and forums that cater to your niche and place your link in your signature file. Make intelligent and helpful posts. This will give you targeted traffic and credibility. Enter forums + "your keyword phrase" to find them.
