I am not a fan of network marketing. That's another word for pyramid. They are totally relying on you getting your friends and family involved and then you quitting. They get to keep your links. I hope it works for you, especially when you pay a start up.

Interesting offer Johnson, yes I think most of us have seen Frank's mass control hype. Yu say you have no list, or a product so how do you qualify your statement to launch the mass stuff for free ~ then you say you only get paid when you generate sales from affiliates ??? yoe need to explain more!

1. Write and submit articles to the article directories.

2. Leave comments on other people’s blogs with a backlink to your site.

3. Answer people’s questions on Yahoo! Answers - Home.

4. Post in forums and have a link to your site in your signature.
5. Advertise your website in the appropriate category on www.CraigsList.com.

6. Give an unbiased testimonial on a product/service that you have used in exchange for a backlink to your site.

7. Start a blog and submit it to the 100’s of free blog directories.

8. Manually submit your website to the major search engines.

9. Optimize each page of your website for a particular keyword or search phrase.

10. Add a link in your email signature to your website. It’s a free and easy way to get a little more traffic.

11. Make a custom 404 error page for your website redirecting people to your home page.

12. Use PPC search engine advertising.

I think you did a good job on your website. I am constantly looking for new ways to advertise my business. I wanted to tell you some of the things that have helped me the most. I have had more success with Traffic exchanges than any other thing that I have tried. Of course I haven't tried article marketing as someone else suggested so I may be missing out on some potential. Another thing that I have noticed is that when I am consistent with my advertising efforts, I see the results. One of the things that I am working on now is creating a product about the area that my product is in. So in your case, you could create a how-to ebook that relates to the product you are promoting. I had read an article called "59 Things You Should Be Doing But Probably Aren't" if you can search it and read it then I can say it will be much helpful to you for internet marketing...

It has the list of what is done and what shouldn't be done as the title itself specifies...

If you can implement them in your internet marketing, I guess your job is done...

Steve, I agree that your best avenue is to start writing articles and using well researched keywords. You could also make use of Digg, StumbleUpon, and other social bookmarking sites to help you get traffic.

The best promotion is going to be having your site appear at the top of search engine lists when people search for your market. To achieve this you have to do a number of things, which you can easily find in any seo blog. However, if no one is going to be able to stumble upon your site, it's pretty unlikely that your business will attract new customers.

Last month I made some videos of the topics on my web site and posted the videos to metacafe.com. The videos got over 5000 hits and traffic to my site soared.

Now to take it one step further I found a new ad company that pays people to blog. Incorporated their link on my site. I just made a video explaining how that works and posted it to MakeMoneyCentral | Learn From the Experts How to Make a Fortune Fast
yesterday. That will earn me $7.50 per action.
