How to promote this business and my website?

Hey everyone,
I have been a network marketing business associate for about half a year now with the company Max International. I haven't ever thought about using the internet to promote it, but I recently just made a website called MaxGXL, Work at Home Business Opportunity, and would like some tips to get it out there. Again, it's network marketing and most of the business consists of people spreading it by word, conventions, and meetings. The product is a unique, natural, breakthrough, patented product which should have no problem at all being sold, and I would like to try and get it out to the people over the internet. However, it is needless to say that I am very new to internet marketing so I would like to get some tips.

Hey mace21, How much will you pay me to promote your business. Do you have an affiliate site who will provide me with info and a commission check??? If you just need free info then visit sites and ask lots of questions.

Im not really looking to pay anyone to promote my business. More just looking for general advice.

First of all you need to get your site in front of some eyeballs, One of the best methods, I have used in the past is articles, there are other free methods, but article marketing is probably the best of them all because they can become viral, if you need a great guide for this I would suggest getting "The Bum Marketing Method" or just do a search for article marketing guide.

Im just very new to it. And im just looking for general tips on how to promote it like blacksmith did I guess. I also recently heard that advertising in non-IM forums is a very effective method to boost traffic. I guess Im not really looking for a single person to promote it, moreso looking for opinions and help.
