Christian Store who needs help!

Hello,

My Name is Zach Johnson, and I am from Knottsville Kentucky (outside of owensboro.) I started an online store about a month ago which sells handmade, rustic crosses made from red cedar wood. The problem is that i have not had one customer.


I bought a traffic booster campaign and have recieved over 400 visitors to my site so far, but none of them were customers.

Anyway, I was wondering if it was my marketing strategy or just my products that were the problem. Or maybe I just need patience...

Well I would have to say yes on the patience thing for sure. But also you have to think of the market as well. In all reality 400 visitors is not that much in the world of internet marketing and selling. but I did go to your website and I notice nothing wrong with anything, it is just going to take time.

5. Youtube, MySpace and FaceBook listings

Have you been registering your site with directories/
Also try;
To increase your web site traffic and Page ratings without advertising expense.
1.Find the best article directory like GoArticles. And submit a quality article to them related to your sites products and list with good keyword density.
2. Submit the article to about 40 high rating social bookmarking sites.
3. Make several blogs on various free blog sites linking to the article.
4. Link your Main site to the resource box of the article.

You should usually rank on the first Google results page within 24 hours, even with millions of results believe it or not.

With a traffic boosting campaign, you're going to get a lot of general non-targeted traffic. You need to find a Christian audience - look for where they are hanging out and advertise there. Start getting involved in Christian forums with your link in your signature. Your traffic will need to be focused better.

something else you may want to do is set up a lens on "Squidoo". Just go to the site Squidoo Homepage and you will understand what i mean. Also like some of the other people said consider your market and make sure you join christian forums, etc..and offer advice etc and make sure you have a clickable link back to your site. Hope this helps

All good advice.
One other idea would be to try to market through local churches. An increasing number of church communities now have websites, and these often include forums & blogs. Try searching these out & letting them know about your products (The look good). This way you are targeting your marketing at the people most likely to respond (Fellow Christians).
