My regards to the community, today most of the people who spent their time on the web are involved in some kind of a business online. There are so many things that you can do on the web, it is just amazing. But, as far as investing in an online business goes, what are the steps to be taken or what methods are employed to get a minimum amount of capital involved in the business so that if there are any losses, it would be negligible.

I am not quite sure of this. Till now I have also used internet as a business medium but only by blogging, forums, social bookmarking etc.
But would love to know more about this option. So if anyone knows anything about how to invest in here , pls share the information.

If I understand you correctly, you want to get involved in a business online without too much capital outlay?

There are a lot of people who do what is known as "Bum Marketing" that means it's so simple even a bum off the street can do it.

What people do is write articles about certain topics and include affiliate links. For instance, you could sign up to Digital Products Retailer: Affiliate Program & Sell Online - ClickBank (which has a huge array of information products) and its free, and find something you would like to promote. Many publishers give promotional links and graphics, and then you write an article about that product, maybe a comparison, nothing too direct.

You can then put your link (which you will be given by clickbank) in your authors bio or even in the body of your article, and when people read your article then they will click on your link and (hopefully) buy the product.

You then get paid by clickbank who do all the financial side of things.

Clickbank maintain they have never been late in making a payment in seven years and I know people who agree with that. They have a fine reputation.
