Best one I've used so far is Avast. Sure better than Norton.
Recently, norton has changed a lot on their antivirus. They no longer slows down the computer.

Also another antivirus to consider is ESET NOD32.

Buy me a Beer?
Recently I've been downloading a lot again so I installed Avast after having a system without a virus scanner for the past few months.
Stay away from Norton!

I like Avast... it is free, takes up very little resources, and completely protects everything. It has not let me down yet

I used AVG in the past but it doesn't even come close to Avast...

I am currently using Trend Micro Internet Security, it is a a bit expensive though but i am very much satisfied with the performance. It is easy to use protection from viruses, intruders, and other Internet-based threats.

I have used Norton, AVG, and Avira. Out of these three, Norton does the best job of protecting my system.

I am using Norton at the moment but seriously considering changing to Avast when I need to update.
