Some threads by new members are automatically moderated. Especially if they have links in them. There is a spam filter that automatically doses the work.
If your thread is suspected to be a spam, it will be appear as moderated until it is reviewed by a human. This is just a way to fight against spam. It appears the forum is very search engine friendly, so spammers are taking advantage of that fact!!! The Admins want to protect the reputation of the forum.
