Does anyone know of a resource tool or vendor that provides information on the most visited sites in specific geographic markets? We're looking to place some online ads and having a hard time determining which local sites are really worth something.

I know we're all in Online Marketing, but since I have worked specifically as Online Ad Traffic Manager, serving billions of impressions annually, I wanted to take a sec to comment. I know this sounds like a sell, but one of the best networks I have worked with is Google. They're able to not just get you within a specific geo, but tailor your display more closely to content of the sites themselves. After all, a click on one of your ads is only part of the deal - you need real conversions. So if I had to pick, Google would be the first stop. There are several others, such as The Right Media Exchange, Tribal Fusion, and many more.. this does depend slightly on your product.

I'd be happy to help in anyway. I have a list of contacts with several networks (including Google) which I use nearly every day and I'd be happy to steer you in the right direction.
