I'm a newbie to PPC and would like to try out my first PPC/Adwords campaign...I've gone thru the Google Adwords pages, so I understand how it works.

Although, what I would like to know from all you experienced marketers is: what s the best & quickest way to Adwords success?

What are your thoughts on this?

1) Select an affiliate product you want to promote
2) Buy a domain name
3) Setup a landing/sales/review page
4) Do some Keyword research
5) Setup a PPC campaign
6) Collect money!!! ;o)

Your strategy looks good, except that thousands of other people are doing the same, and it's therefore the quickest way to lose a lot of money. re: 1] If you can create your own info product to sell, you'll have a UNIQUE product that you won't have to compete with other affiliate marketers with, you won't lose a commission to the owner for. The smart people are the ones who own the affiliate products. They know that paying 75% to affliate marketers is a great deal, since most of those affiliate marketers will take a loss.

Sorry to sound so negative, but I'm sitting on over 100 useless domains that I purchased for the very purpose you mentioned.

I would honestly take out step 2 and then instead replace it with a blog you can make on blogspot or squidoo. These pages rank fast and high if done right.

I'm a newbie and the strategy looked interesting to me though I've never thought about making a loss. I mean, would there ever be a stage when it's okay to make a loss? At what stage would you pull the plug and how could you ever know you're on the verge of a break through?

Steps 4 and 2 are important. Consider Testing multiple versions of the ad, to see which version works best, both from an ROI and CTR perspective.

I first have to make money before I develop a product,right?

I think you need good money to develop it (at least 20k or so), you need: patent search( lawyer fees)
a prototype
marketing research
test panels
manufacturing cost
shipping fees
and the time you spent is also valious.

any tips on ebooks/tools/scripts which are mandatory for adwords success...??

Find keywords
more popular
do some brainstorm and
try to collate as many as keywords
selection of keywords is the secret
