Paypal Problem - Return to Merchant Button - help please

Two questions for you guys..

1. I am getting emails from purchasers of my e-book who dont click on the return to merchant button and ask me to send them a link to download their product. How can I solve this? Should I change the button or what?

Have you had this problem? A solution?

2. How can I test the Paypal purchase and see how my button changes or appears to the buyer and check everything is OK?

Thanks for your answers to this problem!

Buy me a Beer?
People from your payment link perhaps think that after payment page think they will be redirected to the download page automatically such as in the case of clickbank purchases.
This is not unusual. So make a simple test on your website by purchasing one of your own products.I have had this problem before and ended up contacting customer support.People don,t always read the paypal page where it states that customers after payment will be returned to the merchants page to download their product.

If sales have been made since these occurrences and you have not had any emails from those purchasers then you know everything is working. If all this fails call their customer support tomorrow. They are very helpful. Here is the number and times they are open.

PayPal Customer Service:

888-221-1161

4:00 AM PST to 10:00 PM PST Monday through Friday
6:00 AM PST to 8:00 PM PST Saturday and Sunday

Hope This Helps

Just so that you all can see the result of all this research I put in to solve this one:

you can change the wording of the return to merchant button by adding some code on the page. Easy.

I couldnt fix this for text links though only for add to cart buttons. I took away the text links and all seems to be well now.

Nobody else had this problem, I am surprised!
