Wordpress is what we use. And I love it. You can make some great sites without knowing much programming. However, there are a few cons:

Setting up Permalinks is a slight hassle
Plug-ins sometimes have conflicts with each other
Wordpress updates can cause issues
Sites can be slow to load unless some changes are made

Thankfully, the user support for Wordpress is great, and anytime I've had an issue I've been able to find a solution. Wordpress!

I like Joomla because it has a huge community and always has templates and lots of ad-dons.Durpal is also nice one .the choice of CMS is depend on what u want to achieve

Wordpress is by far the best CMS even for static websites
