I've been considering adding Adsense to some of my websites, but I'm not really sure I feel comfortable providing Google with all the private information they are requesting. Before I go through the headache of setting it up, I'd just like to get a feel from others -- do you like Adsense? How much do you make in a month? I realize there are a lot of factors that influence the value of a website, but I'm just curious as to what people on average are experiencing.

What personal information is that? They need to know who to pay and that you are a real person and also not some one that is going to scam them. You have to give up personal information if you work a job

Your right, there are far too many factors to say. The biggest thing to success in adsense or anything on the net is getting traffic. If you know how to get traffic, you will make money. How much? Depends on the quality of your traffic and what keywords your targeting.

Most people I see, don't make much from adsense, usually because they do not have the traffic, or because their keywords are low paying.

I personally would rather get paid some good commissions v.s. cents per clicks. Course just my opinion.

It's easy revenue. You put the code in place and it makes money (if the website has traffic). Its good to use on a site that you are not currently making money on selling products or services. The revenue can really vary depending on the niche.

Revenue from adsesne depends on traffic and niche. If you are in a high paying keyword niche such as Forex or Credit Cards, then you can make some money from adsense provided you have regular targeted traffic flowing into your website. But seriously, don't expect much from adsesne. It is not really a money making method, but it may sometimes supplement you online income. I for one, i don't really care so much about adsesne. There is so much hype around it on the internet, but it is not really worth that amount of hype

Hey...you know I can't divulge how much I make with adsense...but I will tell you it is my number one money maker. And I do not have a high paying niche website. I hate it when some guru says "Secrets to adsense Success" or "My secret adsense guide"...There is NO secret. Just good old fashioned good content on my websites and making the ads look like your website.

I love adsense why...I'll tell you right now.

1. It is FREE.
2. Just add the adsense code in your website or blog.
3. Get paid once you reach the threshold level (100.00 USD bucks).
4. Test your ads frequently...google will help you with analytics and placement of your ads.

Giving those information can let Google verify your current personal address. They will snail mail your PIN code in order for them to verify that it is really your exact address to let them mail your commissions after you made it.

In my opinion, this mandatory step also enables Google to track your IP whether you are using proxies to click your own ads. or you are clean and doing it good.

I do pretty well with it but I don't post ads everywhere. I don't use them on product promotion pages and I don't use them on my own product pages.

Some ad formats work better than others but that can depend on the type of page and its layout.

It comes down to testing. What works for some pages won't work for others, so good testing methods help you find your sweet spot. Once you find that, you're good to go.
