My musician has over 65 million total video fan vies on our vids on YT.

We are in the transition on driving all of our YT traffic to our main website which we will host our own videos.

Kill two birds with one stone - post on YouTube to get that following then embed on your website. This is the simplest and most effective in many instances.

The youtube embed idea is good, but you should look into hosting your videos with Vimeo. It's $60 a year to get HD-Video hosting, and the quality is excellent. Much better than YouTube. So, get your videos on YouTube because it's the most searched video site, but embed the videos from Vimeo.
